first day of work at HSBC Insurance was a rather relaxing one .
my reporting time today was supposed to be 8.45am ,
but i arrived at 8.30am .
& just nice ,
the person whom i'm supposed to look for ,
happened to be at the reception area .

the lady passed me 2 forms ,
1 to be filled up ,
& the other 1 to be signed .
the 1 to be filled up was the application form .
the other 1 was something like the MAS's Code of Conduct form .
i understood why i had to sign that form .
or perhaps ,
Banking & Finance students should understand why .

after filling up the form ,
the lady requested for my IC & also a copy of my poly academic transcript .
i guess she needed to photocopy them to keep as a record .
the lady also showed me around the office .
something like orientation bah .
& she told me that the entire 11th storey belongs to HSBC Insurance .
the office was indeed very big .

after which ,
she showed me to my department - Commercial Claims Department .
bascially ,
it's insurance claims .
i was introduced to my new colleagues ,
& i started on my first task .

well ,
what i heard from my colleagues was that i might not be handling calls at all .
most likely would be just photocopying of forms .
filing of documents .
data entry .
extracting documents from storage .
that's what i did today actually .
i'll be continuing with the extracting of documents tmr as well .
i was also taught by 1 of my colleagues on how to use their claims system .
