i didn't expect the Swine flu to be so serious ,
although Asia is still safe at the moment .
no cases of Swine flu in Asia .
but all of us must be prepared & take precautionary measures as well .
=/
i was being informed by my Head of Department that all staff in HSBC Insurance are required to take our temperature before going to work everyday .
& their exercise starts from tmr onwards .
we have to take 2 readings each day ,
& record our readings in a MS Excel spreadsheet .
the most important thing is ,
if we are having fever ,
don't turn up for work .
it's for the benefit of everyone as well ,
since this flu is known to be more deadly than SARS & it shows no symptoms at all .
it's kind of scary too .

so from tmr onwards ,
i have to take my temperature at home before leaving for work .
& bring my thermometer to work as well .
must remind myself about that .
it's rather insame too .
after work today ,
i wanted to get a thermometer from Watsons or NTUC Unity near my workplace .
but all the thermometers were out of stock !
i was like "OMG" .
so i had no choice but to try out at White Sands ,
since there were 3 pharmacies there .
Watsons & Guardian also experienced the same thing .
out of stock .
i was only left with 1 more pharmacy to go ,
which was NTUC Unity .
thank goodness they still had some ,
but they were running out of stock soon .
so i purchased one at S$13.90 .
got to use it for a period of time i guess .
=/
alright .
enough of the Swine flu .
had lunch with my whole department today ,
excluding my Head of Department .
most importantly ,
we don't have to pay at all !
it was all company's expenses !
how good can it be ?!
